Take Part in the 2016 Long Term Care Nurse Staffing Survey

Long Term Care facility owners and administrators are encouraged to complete a short survey to assess the size and effects of the nursing shortage in Texas.

The survey is available through May 6, 2016. Data collected from this survey will help stakeholders and legislators develop policy recommendations and establish legislative priorities. The Texas Center for Nursing Workforce Studies, part of the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), is collecting this type of information.

Survey responses are strictly confidential. All findings will be reported in aggregate form only. Individual facilities will not be identified.

At the beginning of April, Long Term Care facilities will be mailed materials to aid in completing the survey. Providers will find these materials, as well as more information about the study HERE.
