Collection of Applied Income from the Resident Trust Fund

HHSC issued Provider Letter 19-14 regarding the Proper Authorization for Collection of Applied Income from the Resident Trust Fund.  The purpose of the letter was to increase compliance with the collection of applied income (AI) for resident trust funds, assuring that NF residents’ funds are protected and managed correctly.

The provider letter covers guidance on currently due applied income, past due applied income, and monthly payment agreements.
