Tools to Assist You in Preparing for RoP
Nursing facilities are working on the development and completion of their facility assessment that is found in the new requirements in section 483.70 (e). As a member benefit, THCA is providing a Facility Assessment Template developed by Peggy Connorton. Peggy discussed this tool during the THCA webinar series: Requirements of Participation (ROP) 3 Part Assessments Series. Please note that this is a template and you will need to amend this document to your specific facility and resident population.
THCA also is sharing a link to the Entrance Conference Worksheet that surveyors will be using with the new survey process. This list will provide you guidance as you gather, review, and analyze information during your survey preparation.
