VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE APPROACHING
Texans wanting to vote in this November’s election register by Tuesday, October 9.
This year, Texans will choose elect most statewide offices—including Governor and Lieutenant Governor, and one of Texas’ two U.S. Senate seats. They will also choose their U.S. Congressmen, state legislators, numerous local officials.
Providers, staff, families, and all those who support long term care in Texas should make voting a habit. Elected officials have a large role in determining the funding and regulation of long term care facilities.
To see if you are already registered to vote and for other information, go to the Secretary of State’s website at www.votetexas.gov.
