Center for Excellence in Aging Services and Long Term Care Accepting Nominations for “Nursing at Its Best Award”

 

The Center for Excellence in Aging Services and Long Term Care is seeking nominations for healthcare providers at the CNA, LVN, RN, and APRN levels who have provided excellent person-centered care to patients in a long-term care setting. This can be at a nursing home or skilled nursing facility.

Criteria:

  • Work in long-term care setting in Texas
  • Must be at least a year in position
  • Demonstrates past or present person-centered care

A committee will review each entry and select a winner under the categories of nurse, nurse assistant, and nurse administrator. The submission deadline is Friday, May 24, 2019.

Winners will be featured on the Center for Excellence in Aging Services and Long Term Care’s (CEASLTC) website and social media pages. Each winner will also receive a certificate and be honored at an awards ceremony at the annual Geriatrics Symposium, co-sponsored by Texas Health and Human Services and the CEASLTC.
