Register for the Free PASRR in the Nursing Facility: Putting the Pieces Together

The Health and Human Services (HHS) PASRR in the Nursing Facility: Putting the Pieces Together is a free, 2-day training. Participants will learn about PASRR (Preadmission Screening and Resident Review), PASRR-positive residents, how to care for PASRR-positive residents, PASSR services, the PASRR screening process, PASRR authorization, how PASRR relates to the Minimum Data Set and relevant regulations.

Nursing facilities across the state provide care to individuals with a variety of diagnoses, including intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental illness (MI). Facility staff will receive thorough and sustainable education, information and resources that detail the complexities of caring for residents with IDD, MI, or both. This training is crucial to ensuring that the quality of care provided to these vulnerable Texans is at the highest possible level.
