Recognize Outstanding Texas Nursing Staff in Long Term Care Settings
The Center for Excellence in Long Term Care is seeking nominations for the Nursing At Its Best award and will accept nominations for CNAs, LVNs, RNs and APRNs who have provided excellent person-centered care to residents in long term care setting. The nominee must meet the following criteria:
- Work in a Texas long term care setting such as a skilled nursing facility or nursing home
- Be in their position for at least one year
- Demonstrate past or present person-centered care
The Center for Excellence in Long-Term Care will award winners with a certificate, provide award winners with the opportunity for a continuing education workshop at the winner’s facility and will feature winners on their website and social media page.
Submit a written nomination of 250 words or less, telling us why your nominee deserves to win. Nominations will close March 9, 2018, and winners will receive notification April 11. Awards are presented quarterly so any submissions received after March 9 will be reviewed during the next award cycle.
