Next month, THCA will be celebrating 65 years in Texas at the 65th Annual Convention & Trade Show, in Grapevine. The opportunity to serve each of you and your responsibilities to the residents, families, staff and communities you serve is an opportunity that we are proud to be a part of.
Working with professionals across the long term care continuum whose responsibility is to care for the frail and elderly of our state, who share the same passion and purpose, and who strive go above and beyond on a daily basis, is what we want to celebrate this coming September 21-24th in Grapevine.
Keynote Speakers at this year’s convention include:

- Kathy Dempsey, Award-winning author and speaker on change management

Also, don’t forget to recognize those individuals in your facility who demonstrate compassion and caring on a daily basis, by nominating them for one of many 2015 THCA Awards. Nominations have been extended until August 15th, so don’t delay.
Thank you….it can’t be said enough. Being there for the elderly on a daily basis, and providing the care they both expect and deserve is both challenging and very rewarding. Thank you for that extra smile, that extra hand and the added support that you give to your residents and families. I look forward to seeing you next month at Convention, and the opportunity to thank you personally.
