DADS Extends Deadline for Nursing Facility Quality ReviewDADS is extending the deadline for the 2015 Nursing Facility Quality Review from August 31, 2015, to January 31, 2016. These reviews began in March. DADS has contracted with the University of Texas-Austin School of Nursing to visit about 1,130 nursing facilities across the state to collect data for the Nursing Facility Quality Review. The UT nurse quality reviewers are representatives of DADS and, as such, are allowed access to the sample residents and their clinical records. If your facility is contacted by UT, you must participate in the survey per legislative mandate (Senate Bill 1, Rider 13, 83rd Texas Legislature, Regular Session, 2013). |
