CONVENTION TIPS FROM YOUR THCA REGION CHAIRS:THCA Convention Advanced Registration has ended, but if you haven’t pre-registered, you can still register on-line with the on-site registration price to help shorten your on-site registration process. Also, don’t forget to create your Personal Convention Itinerary to ensure you attend all of the great sessions and networking events scheduled.
Monday Night: Welcome Reception, 6:30 – 8:30pm – A great place to re-connect with colleagues and make new friends! Tuesday Morning: THCA Administrators Council Breakfast, 7-8:15am – breakfast with your fellow THCA Member Nursing and Assisted Living Administrators Tuesday Morning: Keynote Address “Fired Up!”, 8:30–10:30am Tuesday Afternoon: Trade Show, 4-7pm – Business Members share their latest and greatest services & products to help you operate your facility as effectively as possible. Bring plenty of business cards to participate in Tuesday’s Exhibitor Drawings! Tuesday Afternoon: THCA House of Delegates Meeting, 1:30–3:30pm – All Voting Delegates should attend. Be sure to have your Delegate credentials for access to the Delegates seating. House of Delegates is also where the following THCA Awards will be presented: Outstanding Administrator of the Year; Outstanding Assisted Living Administrator of the Year; Ombudsman of the Year; Public Information & Education (PIE) Awards and the wonderful Regional C.N.A. of the Year presentations. (Note: D.O.N. of the Year; Regional Nurse of the Year & Nurse Scholarships will be presented during the Nurses Day Award Luncheon on Wednesday) Tuesday Night: THCA 65th Anniversary Celebration, 7-10pm – Live Music by “The Emerald City Band”, THCA Sapphire Lounge and Casino Style Gaming! Win Prizes provided by our Fabulous Exhibitors! Wednesday Morning, General Session, “It all Starts with Attitude”, 8:30-10am Wednesday Afternoon: Trade Show, 3:30-6:30pm – Business Members share their latest and greatest services & products to help you operate your facility as effectively as possible.
