One a Month Campaign Now Has a Website

Take the time to visit www.oneamonthtexas.com

There has been a website created for providers to obtain information, tools and see a list of events to assist them in their efforts to reduce off label antipsychotics.

Given the lag in obtaining timely updated QM data please track your success with the campaign goal of One a Month. After the first of November all facilities will receive a survey to self-report anonymous One a Month interim data via Survey Monkey. The following 2 questions will be asked:

1. Was your facility successful in removing one or more residents from all antipsychotic medications during the month of October?
2. Did any of your residents receive NEW antipsychotic medications in October, who did not previously take any?

In addition I am also looking for success stories to share throughout the state regarding the One a Month campaign, so please email me at gbwilliams@txhca.org to share your experiences.
